German newspapers are forbidden to publish notices or advertisements of Jewish religious services, according to an order published today in the official organ of the Reichs Association of Newspaper Publishers. The order explains that publication of such matter is not in accordance with the duties of the press.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
