British military reinforcements will continue to be evacuated from Palestine, where they had been sent to quell Arab disorders, it was revealed in the House of Commons today.

Replying to a query by William Gallacher, Communist, War Minister Sir Alfred Duff-Cooper stated an order has been issued for the withdrawal of the Fifth Division. He declared further withdrawals depend on the situation in the Holy Land. Evacuation of the British forces started Nov. 7 when a contingent of 2,900 reservists left Haifa on the liner Laurentic.

Laughter greeted a query by Col. Josiah Wedgwood, pro-Zionist Laborite, on whether Palestine is being governed by the Arab Supreme Committee, the rulers of neighboring Moslem countries, High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope or Lieut. Gen. J.G. Dill. The question drew no reply.
