The Jewish Scientific Institute announced today it has taken over from the Jewish Culture League the publication in Yiddish of Simeon Dubnow’s ten-volume history of the Jews, originally written in German.
The sixth volume, dealing with the Middle Ages, will appear in the next two weeks, it was stated, and translation of the other four volumes is in progress. The institute is considering announcing subscriptions to the history in low installments.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
