The Joint Boycott Council has telegraphed Secretary of Treasury Henry Morgenthau Jr., it was announced today, in protest against the negotiations conducted by the Treasury Department with Germany.
The protest, signed by Dr. Joseph Tenenbaum and B.C. Vladeck, cochairmen of the council, charged that the pact violated the antidumping section of the Tariff Act and said it will be deplored by every liberal-minded American citizen.”
