Recruiting for the Palestine police force, which is to be reinforced in connection with continuing sporadic Arab disturbances, was started here yesterday. Recruits are being offered eleven pounds sterling (about $55) monthly plus their keep.
It was reported that High Commissioner Wauchope had appealed for additional police.
