Sir Robert Ludwig Mond, English scientist and archaeologist, was elected today an associate member of the Academie des Inscriptions et Belles Lettres in place of the late King Fuad of Egypt. Sir Robert has been a generous donator to French museums. The academy is one of the five comprising L’Institut de France.
