Newspapers here commented cautiously on Congressman William Sirovich’s project to settle between 25,000 and 40,000 German Jewish refugees on Cuban soil within five years. In contrast to the reaction following announcement of the project several months ago, when the press bitterly attacked it, editorials neither criticized nor lauded it.
