The Daily Herald reported from Jerusalem that Jaffa port officials were suspected in the disappearance of cases of dynamite from the customs house there. The paper said a search of Arab houses for the dynamite failed, but yielded a large haul of arms and ammunition. The owners of the houses were arrested.
