The Austrian sports authorities are about to lift the three-year ban imposed on three Jewish swimming champions for refusing to compete in the Olympic games in Berlin, it has been learned.

It was stated that the three swimmers, Judith Deutsch, Ruth Langer and Lucie Goldner, would be restored to good standing because Austrian swimming clubs have fared badly in international meets as a result of their disqualification.
