Jewish Sculptor Wins Holland’s “prix De Rome”

A Jewish sculptor, W. Couzyn of Amsterdam, was awarded today the Prix de Rome. He was the first recipient of the Netherlands Government’s prize to enable young Dutch artists to travel in Italy, France and other art centers. Couzyn is a student of the Dutch Royal Academy of Plastic Arts.
