Dr. Bernhard Kahn, European director of the Joint Distribution Committee, accompanied by David J. Schweitzer, European vice-director and financial administrator, and Nathan Katz, New York attorney, will shortly visit Poland to confer on plans for bettering the situation of Jews of Poland, it was announced today.

Joseph C. Hyman, secretary and executive director of the J.D.C. said: “The present visit to Poland represents not alone the Joint Distribution Committee but also the program of the American Joint Reconstruction Foundation, of which Dr. Kahn is one of the two managing directors and Mr. Schweitzer a vice-managing director. It is the intention of both organizations not merely to aid the Jews who are in a desperate situation but to help build up general economic conditions thereby.”
