The Philadelphia branch of the United Synagogue of America has voted to create an agency to bring about a uniform plan of Jewish education in Philadelphia and a Bureau of Synagogue Extension to help Jewish communities around this city.
A Joint Board of Education will be organized including representatives of the conservative Jewish congregation of Philadelphia in proportion to enrollment in their congregational schools. It will seek to cooperate with other Jewish agencies.
