Dozens of Jewish delegations from the province today besieged Dr. Bernhard Kahn, European director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, asking for relief and reporting dire distress, particularly in towns far from the capital.
Pointing out that in Przytyk, near Radom, formerly one of the sore spots of Jewish distress, the situation had improved as result of assistance by the J.D.C., the delegations emphasized the conditions in the various towns could be remedied by taking proper relief measures.
Dr. Kahn and David J. Schweitzer, financial administrator of the J.D.C. continued daily conferences with Jewish organizations on relief. A special conference on relief was scheduled Tuesday which representative of all Jewish economic organizations are to attend.
