An enlarged naturalization and Americanization program, aimed particularly at integrating recent arrivals with American life, was announced today by Mrs. Arthur Brin, president of the National Council of Jewish Women, following a meeting of the board of directors.
Mrs. Brin described the council’s progress to the 39 women representing more than 50,000 members. She said 5,000 members had been added in a membership drive. Mrs. Maurice L. Goldman, New York, was appointed chairman of the German Jewish Children’s Aid, Inc., and Mrs. Benjamin B. Spitzer, New York, chairman of the newly-formed Committee on Naturalization and Citizenship.
