The text of the treaty of “Arab Fraternity and Alliance” completed at Bagdad on April 2, 1936, between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, was received for registration by the League of Nations today, the Havas News Agency reported.
The treaty, which was forwarded by the Iraq Government, engaged both parties to settle all differences between themselves or between one of them and a third nation, by pacific means. It provides also for the adherence of any other independent Arab state.
Certain special clauses, binding for 10 years and renewable for an equal period, were not made public.
