World Labor Body Airs Migration Problems at Parley

Facilitation and financing of emigration from overpopulated countries to countries able to absorb newcomers were considered today at the opening session of an International Labor Office conference.

A proposal to have the question studied by experts was opposed by the Polish member, who succeeded in obtaining discussion of the problem for tomorrow.

When it was suggested that an experts committee be appointed to deal with the matter and submit practical suggestions in 1938, the Polish member declared that 1938 was too late. He demanded immediate consideration.
