Nationalist efforts to enlist the aid of the Polish Peasant Party in their anti-Jewish campaign were snubbed sharply today by the Zielony Sztandar, official organ of the party.

In a caustic editorial reminding the Nationalists that “Hit the Jews, is not our slogan,” the paper declared:

“The Polish Peasant Party does not intend to compete with the Endeks (Nationalists) in anti-Semitism, in breaking windows, demolishing Jewish stalls and closing universities.”
