Rabbi Jacob Levinson, of Brooklyn, said today he had received more than 300 signatures of orthodox rabbis in the United States and Canada to a resolution protesting any possible action prejudicial to Jewish rights arising from the Royal Commission inquiry in Palestine.

Association is to be sent to the British Ambassador for transmission to the Royal Commission and a copy sent to the Jewish Agency for Palestine. It denounces the plan for Arab-Jewish parity as well as “any plan intending to hamper our return and resettlement of Eretz Israel.”

“We also consider the formula of ‘Not to rule and not to be ruled’ as superfluous and harmful,” the resolution said. “The ethics of our Torah assume the equality of all the inhabitants of the land. This formula is only employed as a disguise for parity.”
