Reich Jewish Groups to Celebrate Abravanel Anniversary

Jewish organizations announced plans today to celebrate the quincentenary of the birth of Don Isaac Abravanel, Portuguese Jew who gained fame as a statesman, exegete and mystic. The Berlin Jewish Community will commemorate the occasion by issuing a special medal, to be presented to it by Dr. Heinrich Stahl, president.

The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia issued an appeal to all communities to devote the week of Passover to celebration of the birthday, which will be marked by Jews throughout the world.
