Nations Urged to Ratify Convention on Refugees

All countries were urged today to ratify the inter-governmental convention fixing the legal status of refugees from Germany in a resolution adopted at a conference on refugees. The convention was drawn up under League of Nations auspices.

Among those attending the conference were Sir Neill Malcolm, League High Commissioner for Refugees, and representatives of Jewish organizations, including the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and the HIAS-ICA Emigration Association.
