Establishment of a group to be known as the “Jewish Friends’ Food Fund,” which will engage in export of kosher meat to Germany where its production is forbidden, was announced here today.
The Berlin Central Fund for Kosher Meat, it was stated, has been granted permission to import meat if it is paid for outside of Germany. A funds campaign has been launched under the leadership of Chief Rabbi J. H. Hertz, Councillor M. H. Davis and David Sassoon.
