The work of the Jewish Consumptive Relief Society of Denver in caring for the poor was stressed today at the thirty-third annual convention of the society at the Hotel Astor. Delegates from 20 cities attended the meeting.

Prominent speakers addressed the opening of the parley last night. They included Grover A. Whalen, Jeremiah T. Mahoney, Senator Edwin Johnson of Colorado, and Rabbi Israel Goldstein, who presided. A $100-plate dinner tonight closed the convention.
