The Council of the Joint Foundation has decided to issue $575,000 in credits to Jewish credit banks in countries in which the foundation is established, it was announced today.
The announcement followed a meeting of the council attended by Felix M. Warburg, of New York; Dr. Bernhard Kahn, European director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and Dr. Louis Oungre, of Paris.
Mr. Warburg, who is visiting here in regard to the situation of the Jews in Europe and Palestine, will attend a meeting of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine in London on March 24.
