Forceful and immediate action against pro-Nazi groups in Austria was forecast today as Dr. Michael Skubl, Vienna Police Chief, took up his new post of Secretary of State for Public Security, the Havas News Agency reported.
Skubl, strongly opposed to German interference in Austria, was named last night to take over the functions of Odo Neustadter-Stuermer, pro-Nazi Minister of Public Security, who was “suspended” by President Wilhelm Miklas.
