A total of 300,000 zlotys (about $60,000) was sent to Poland by the American Committee Appeal for the Jews in Poland in 1936, the committee said today in a report on the first year of its existence.

The committee’s activities during the first year also served to clear the ground for more extensive campaign operations and convince American Jewry of the need for a separate campaign for the Polish Jews, the report stated.
