Thomas Mann, the exiled German author, arrived here today on the Normandie to participate in the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science of the New School for Social Research (the University in Exile). The three-day celebration begins tomorrow and will conclude with a dinner Thursday night.
