Prof. Hans Mamlok, famous German-Jewish dental scientist, who lost his posts with Berlin University and a prominent dental journal after a play based on his career had been produced, arrived here today.

The play, “Professor Mamlock,” by Friedrich Wolf, a German exile, parallels the career of the scientist. After it had opened in Zurich Switzerland, Dr. Mamlok who previously had escaped molestation, lost his positions.

The play is now showing in New York under the auspices of the Jewish unit of the WPA Federal Theatre Project. Dr. Mamlok, a holder of the German Iron Cross, will live with his son, Karl, in Staten Island. He intends to set up practice here.
