A young Jew was walking along the street with an attractive blonde girl, both of them enjoying the Spring weather.

Suddenly, police halted the pair and arrested them on a charge of “contaminating racial purity,” for “non-Aryans” are not allowed to consort with “Aryans” under the Nuremberg laws of 1935.

They were released, however, when the girl proved she was Jewish. She had bleached her hair, she said, to avoid the persecutions to which Jewesses are subjected.

The girl was released only on condition that she refrain from dyeing her hair in the future.
