The “state forms of Germany” can have no influence on Hungary, declared Premier Koloman Daranyi in a speech before Parliament here in which he stressed the necessity for continuation of German-Hungarian friendship, the Havas News Agency reported today.
Speaking during a discussion of the budget, Daranyi said the Government wished to maintain this amity with Germany and was convinced that Germany felt the same. With this aim Hungary desired the eliminations between the countries, he continued.
“The prosperity and security of great nations is attained only by heroic work on the part of those charged with direction of their countries,” he said, “and it is not acceptable that this work be meddled with even in a critical form.”
“It is incontestable,” he added, “that the state forms of Germany are without significance in our national life.”
