The Federation of Polish Jews in America today communicated with the Polish Ambassador in Washington expressing “the concern of American Jewry” over last week’s anti-Semitic rioting in Brzesc, Poland.

The letter, signed by Benjamin Winter, president of the federation, said:

“We deeply regret that a policeman of Brzesc has been fatally wounded. But we regard as frightful the attempt to hold the entire Polish Jewry responsible and that a visitation of murder, pillage and terror should be made upon all members of the Brzesc Jewish community.”
