A “soldier-to-soldier” appeal on behalf of the Polish Jews has been forwarded to Marshal Edward Smygly-Rydz of Poland by a committee of Jewish war veterans.

Urging him to exert the full force of his personality to prevent excesses such as have recently occurred, the letter states:

“We are not politicians and do not intend to take political action, but request you to regard our letter as an expression of confidence by soldiers in a soldier.”
