The Board of Alderman, condemning the officials of the city-owned station WNYC for permitting an Arab anti-Zionist broadcast last Saturday night, has called the officials before it next week for a complete explanation of the discussion.

A resolution denouncing the practice of broadcasting “political propaganda” and charging the station was used to “spread anti-Semitism and racial hatred over the breadth of those United States through a national hook-up” was adopted on motion of Alderman Samson Insolbuch.

Station WNYC officials invited reporters today to a playing of the records of last Saturday night’s broadcast to demonstrate their contention that there was nothing offensive in the addresses.

A reply to the speeches, broadcast from a dinner of the Arab National League in honor of Ameen Rihani, Arab Nationalist author and poet, will be made in an hour’s broadcast over WNYC this Friday evening, the Zionist Organization of America announced, with Dr. Stephen S. Wise, and Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver among the speakers.
