The Bund (Jewish Socialist party) today denied disloyalty to the State and army in a statement on the sentencing to death of Judah Leib Chatzkalewicz, a former member, for the murder of a Polish sergeant in Minsk-Mazowice.

The statement declared that the Bund merely complied with the policy of other Socialist parties, being opposed to militarism and not against the army.
