The British Government today announced a ban on all public political processions in the Jewish quarter of London’s East End for six weeks.

The prohibition was announced in the House of Commons by Sir Samuel Hoare, Secretary of State for Home Affairs.

Sir Samuel said that a proposed march of Sir Oswald Mosley’s Fascists in the East End on July 4 had been prohibited in view of the risk of serious conflicts.
