White House attaches said today they had not seen the cable which Grand Mufti Haj Amin el Husseini announced in Jerusalem he had sent to President Roosevelt protesting “Jewish efforts to force the United States to intervene against the Arabs” in Palestine.
All information concerning the cable, if and when it is received, must come from the State Department, it was stated, where the cable also had not been received.
