German industries were reported today to have re-employed their former Jewish agents here after discovering that exports from Germany to Lithuania fell off rapidly after the Jews were discharged.

Jewish against for German automobile, metallurgical, dye and other manufacturers had been replaced by “Aryans.” The “Aryans” failed to maintain contact with Jewish trading circles here, and as a result business slumped badly. To save their market, the German firms rehired the Jews.
