THE HOUSE OF COMMONS WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEBATE THE PENDING TRIPARTITION OF PALESTINE WITHIN A FORTNIGHT, IT WAS LEARNED today.

THE DEBATE, HOWEVER, WILL HAVE NO BEARING ON EXECUTION OF THE ROYAL COMMISSION’S RECOMMENDATIONS, SINCE THE CABINET IS AUTHORITATIVELY REPORTED TO HAVE ALREADY APPROVED THEM.

YESTERDAY’S WEEKLY SESSION OF THE CABINET, IT WAS ASCERTAINED, APPROVED A DRAFTED STATEMENT OF POLICY WHICH IS TO BE PUBLISHED HERE THURSDAY TOGETHER WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS ON PARTITION IN THE FORM OF A “COMMAND PAPER.”
