THE REICHMINISTER OF JUSTICE AND THE PRUSSIAN MINISTER OF FINANCE HAVE ISSUED A JOINT ORDER STATING THAT JEWISH CHAR TABLE INSTITUTIONS WILL NO LONGER BE EXEMPTED FROM TAXATION OR THE PAYMENT OF ANY COURT FEES.

ACCORDING TO THE NEW TAXATION LAW, THE ORDER STATES, ONLY SUCH INSTITUTIONS AND SOCIETIES CAN CLAIM TO BE CHARITABLE WHICH GIVE RELIEF TO NEEDY GERMANS. THIS LAW DEPRIVES, THEREFORE, THE JEWISH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS OF THEIR CHARITABLE CHARACTER.
