FASCIST AGITATORS ARE FANNING THE FLAMES OF RACE HATRED IN THE CROWDED EAST END OF LONDON UNCHECKED BY POLICE, ACCORDING TO A REPORT OF A SPECIAL INVESTIGATION BY THE NEWS-CHRONICLE, FEATURED BY THAT NEWSPAPER ON ITS FRONT PAGE TODAY.

THE NEWS-CHRONICLE SENT ITS INVESTIGATOR INTO EAST END TO STUDY THE TENSE SITUATION EXISTING THERE BETWEEN JEWS AND GENTILES. HE REPORTED THAT THERE CAN BE NO DOUBT THAT OSWALD MOSLEY’S FASCIST BLACK SHIRTS ARE RESPONSIBLE.

THE ARTICLE CRITICIZED THE POLICE FOR TAKING NO ACTION AGAINST “INCREDIBLE PROVOCATION” BY FASCIST MEETINGS.

HE DECLARED A REIGN OF TERROR WAS BEING CONDUCTED AGAINST THE JEWS.

IN AN EDITORIAL, THE NEWS-CHRONICLE URGED FULLEST ENFORCEMENT OF THE PUBLIC ORDER ACT AND PROSECUTION OF THOSE WHO INCITE VIOLENCE BY PREACHING CREEDS OF HATE.
