THE THREATENED BOLT WAS ANNOUNCED BY ELIEZER KAPLAN, MEMBER OF THE WORLD ZIONIST EXECUTIVE AND TREASURER OF THE AGENCY, AT A MEETING OF THE ZIONIST LABORITE FACTION. MR. KAPLAN SAID NEGOTIATIONS ON THE QUESTION ARE BEING CONTINUED.
THE JEWISH AGENCY FOR PALESTINE, EXISTING IN ITS PRESENT FORM SINCE 1929, IS RECOGNIZED BY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS AS WORLD JEWRY’S SPOKESMAN AND SUPREME AUTHORITY IN PALESTINE AFFAIRS.
