Religious Labor Groups Demand Agudah Support Jewish State

RELIGIOUS LABOR GROUPS DEMANDED TODAY THAT THE WORLD CONGRESS OF THE AGUDATH ISRAEL, ORTHODOX JEWISH ORGANIZATION, SUPPORT PROPOSALS FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF A JEWISH STATE IN PALESTINE.

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ORTHODOX LABOR GROUPS ALSO PROPOSED:

1.CREATION OF A LEAGUE FOR RELIGIOUS WORKING PALESTINE.

2.CREATION OF PALESTINE JEWISH COMMUNITIES EMBRACING ALL JEWISH GROUPS.

3. ESTABLISHMENT OF A UNION INCLUDING THE AGUDATH ISRAEL, THE MIZRACHI (RELIGIOUS ZIONIST) ORGANIZATION, THE POEL HAMIZRACHI (RELIGIOUS ZIONIST LABOR) ORGANIZATION, AND THE AGUDATH POALIM AND AGUDATH ZEIRIM, NON-ZIONIST RELIGIOUS LABOR GROUPS, FOR THE RELIGIOUS UPBUILDING OF PALESTINE.

4. FORMATION OF A TRADE UNION OF RELIGIOUS JEWISH WORKERS IN PALESTINE.

KONRAD HENLEIN, LEADER OF THE PRO NAZI GERMAN SUDETEN PARTY, PROTESTED TO THE MAYOR OF THIS CITY TODAY AGAINST THE OFFICIAL MESSAGE OF GREETINGS GIVEN BY THE JEWISH VICE-MAYOR, BUXBAUM, TO THE CONGRESS OF THE AGUDATH ISRAEL. HE ALSO PROTESTED THAT THE CONGRESS HAD BEEN ALLOWED TO BE HELD HERE.
