ALL GERMANS RESIDING IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES WHO ARE NOT NAZIS ARE “TRAITORS TO THEIR COUNTRY,” WILHELM BOHLE, HEAD OF THE NAZI ORGANIZATION FOR GERMANS LIVING ABROAD, DECLARED IN A SPEECH AT THE OPENING OF THE FIFTH CONGRESS OF GERMANS LIVING ABROAD, THE HAVAS NEWS AGENCY REPORTED.

“WHEN WE SPEAK OF GERMANS ABROAD WE MEAN ONLY NAZIS,” HERR BOHLE DECLARED. “THOSE WHO DO NOT WANT TO BE NAZIS AND CONTINUE ERRONEOUSLY TO TERM THEMSELVES GERMANS CANNOT BE GIVEN ANY OTHER DESIGNATION THAN THAT OF ‘TRAITORS TO THEIR COUNTRY.'”

HE TOLD THE 11,000 GERMAN RESIDENTS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES ATTENDING THE CONGRESS THAT REICH CITIZENS ABROAD MUST LIVE IN ACCORD WITH THE PRINCIPLES PREVALENT IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.
