Jewish Training Ship Arrives at Haifa from Genoa

THE JEWISH TRAINING SHIP SARA I OUT OF GENOA, CARRYING A COMPLEMENT OF 44 OFFICERS, CREW AND CADETS, HAS DROPPED ANCHOR ALONG THE BREAKWATER HERE, COMPLETING ITS FIRST VOYAGE INTO PALESTINE WATERS. THE VESSEL LEFT GENOA AUG. 18 AND TOUCHED AT SALONICA, GREECE, AND CYPRUS EN ROUTE HERE. THE SARA I, WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE CIVITA VECCHIA TRAINING SCHOOL, IS A 750-TON FOUR-MASTER WITH TWO AUXILIARY DIESEL ENGINES.
