MORE THAN TWENTY JEWS WERE BEATEN IN THE STREETS OF LWOW BY AN ENDEK BAND. ENDEKS SMASHED WINDOWS IN THE HOME OF CHIEF RABBI ISAAC RUBENSTEIN OF WILNO, A SEJM DEPUTY.

PICKETING OF JEWISH SHOPS BY ENDEKS IN WILNO AND WLOCLAWCK HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY SUCCESSFUL, MAKING IT VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CARRY ON BUSINESS.

THE WARSAW YIDDISH DAILY, HAINT, CHARGES NON-JEWISH BOOKSELLERS ARE SUBSIDIZING THE PICKETING OF JEWISH COMPETITORS. ACCORDING TO THE NEWSPAPER, THE PICKETS ARE RECRUITED FROM THE RANKS OF THE JOBLESS AND PAID THREE ZLOTYS (ABOUT SIXTY CENTS) DAILY.
