FIFTY PALESTINIAN ORGANIZATIONS TODAY CABLED CONGRATULATIONS TO BRONISLAW HUBERMAN, VIOLINIST AND FOUNDER OF THE PALESTINE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, ON HIS NARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH IN AN AIRPLANE CRASH AT PALEMBANG, SUMATRA. THE ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDED THE TEL AVIV MUNICIPALITY AND THE HISTADRUTH, PALESTINE JEWISH LABOR FEDERATION. MR. HUBERMAN’S LEFT RADIUS WAS BROKEN CLOSE TO THE WRIST AND TWO METACARPAL BONES OF THE RIGHT HAND BROKEN.
