A LARGE CROWD WHICH HAD ASSEMBLED FOR CHURCH SERVICES STONED JEWISH HOMES AND RAIDED THE TOWN’S SHOPPING CENTER. ABOUT 300 JEWISH FAMILIES LIVE IN SUCHOWOLA.

JEWISH STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS WERE STILL CONFERRING TODAY ON THE ADVISABILITY OF CALLING A NATION-WIDE STRIKE TO PROTEST AGAINST INSTITUTION OF “GHETTO BENCHES” IN WARSAW UNIVERSITIES WITH OFFICIAL SANCTION OF THE EDUCATION MINISTRY. PLANS TO CALL AN EIGHT-DAY STRIKE HAVE BEEN SHELVED, IT WAS LEARNED, IN FAVOR OF ONE TO LAST ONLY TWO DAYS.
