VALERIUS POP, MINISTER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY NOTIFIED INDUSTRIALISTS IN A CIRCULAR TODAY THAT PREVIOUS INSTRUCTIONS ON RESTRICTING THE EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGNERS AND MEMBERS OF NATIONAL MINORITIES WERE NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMPULSORY ORDER BUT AS AN URGENT RECOMMENDATION.

RUMANIAN SOCIALISTS AND TRADE UNIONISTS DECIDED TO PROTEST AGAINST MR. POP’S INSTRUCTIONS. THE PRINTERS’ UNION ORDERED ITS MEMBERS NOT TO TAKE A JOB FROM WHICH A MEMBER OF A NATIONAL MINORITY IS DISMISSED.
