BERL KATZNELSON, EDITOR OF THE HEBREW LABORITE NEWSPAPER, DAVAR, AND A LEADER OF THE PALESTINE JEWISH LABOR MOVEMENT, ARRIVED HERE ON THE QUEEN MARY YESTERDAY AS A GUEST OF THE POALE-ZION ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS HOLDING A CONVENTION IN PHILADELPHIA THIS WEEK.

MR. KATZNELSON, WHO SPENT SOME TIME IN LONDON BEFORE COMING HERE, WAS OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE FUTURE OF ZIONISM. HE SAID THAT AS A RESULT OF THE MURDER OF DISTRICT COMMISSIONER LEWIS Y. ANDREWS IN PALESTINE, GREAT BRITAIN HAD FOR THE FIRST TIME DIRECTLY AND OPENLY BLAMED THE ARABS FOR TERRORISM, RESULTING IN THE CREATION OF A NEW SITUATION WHICH HE HELD FAVORABLE TO THE JEWS.
