KING GEORGE VI WAS TODAY PRESENTED WITH SYMBOLS OF PALESTINE JEWRY’S AFFECTION AND LOYALTY BY DR. CHAIM WEIZMANN, PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD ZIONIST ORGANIZATION, ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE JEWISH NATIONAL COUNCIL OF PALESTINE. DR. WEIZMANN WAS ACCOMPANIED BY COLONIAL SECRETARY WILLIAM ORMSBY-GORE.
THE SYMBOLS INCLUDED A TORAH, A VELLUM-BOUND VOLUME OF PHOTOGRAPHS ILLUSTRATING UPBUILDING OF PALESTINE, AND A LOYAL ADDRESS.
