THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT, IT WAS REPORTED TODAY, HAS NO INTENTION AT PRESENT OF SENDING FURTHER TROOPS TO PALESTINE TO PALESTINE TO SUPPRESS THE OUTBREAK OF TERRORISM. IT IS CONSIDERED THAT THE FORCES NOW THERE ARE ADEQUATE TO DEAL WITH THE SITUATION.

IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT COLONIAL SECRETARY WILLIAM ORMSBY-GORE WILL MAKE A LENGTHY STATEMENT IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS TOMORROW ON RECENT EVENTS IN THE HOLY LAND.
